It’s been almost 3 years since I pressed publish on my first blog post. It’s on the top of my list as one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning for many months researching how to start a blog.
Once my blog was up and running, I thought I could rest. I thought that would be it. Now I can write! But I had NO IDEA the amount of learning I still had to do. I entered the new and constantly changing world of social media, opt-ins, email lists, affiliate marketing and branding.
I’m still learning new things every single day! I love educating myself and learning new skills. But sometimes it can be frustrating when I don’t know how to figure something out— like trying to untangle a knotted up necklace.
I recently attended a writing conference and met accomplished writers who had published books and written devotionals and Bible studies. Their next step was to start a blog, but they didn’t really know where to begin.
