When my 12-year-old daughter first saw her new NIV Bible for teen girls, her eyes lit up and she said, “I like it!” The cover is well-made and sturdy and the pages are durable. The artwork and colors (greenish turquoise, pink, muted black and peach) really make it stand out. This Bible is designed to help teens grow in faith, hope, and love. Since my daughter’s middle name is Faith, it was just another reason to love this Bible! Not only that, but there are two artistic sparrows on the cover which have always had a special meaning to me!
Features Include:
- Most of the special feature pages (except the index and the concordance) are pink
- Daily readings from popular Christian female authors such as Bethany Hamilton, Christine Caine and Annie Downs. These sections are labeled “Growing in Faith, Hope, Love.”
- Character profiles of women in the Bible, including the meaning of their name
- Introduction to books of the Bible that explain timeframe, what the book is about, who is in the book and verses you might recognize
- Highlighted verses and promises of God
- A concordance to help you find verses
- A topical index
I lead a 7th grade girls’ Bible Study. I loved seeing my daughter use her beautiful Bible to read verses aloud. She loves the special devotions geared for teens. I would highly recommend this Bible for teens and even their moms!

Fun review! I’ve been a little tentative about reviewing a Bible. Seems like a monumental task, but you’ve done it here and encouraged me in the process!
Sounds like a great Bible for teen girls! Thanks for sharing with #TheCozyReadingSpot
